About Balt
What is Balt?
Balt is the AI employee for staffing agencies and recruiters. Mention it in Slack or Teams like any teammate: it connects to the tools you already have and hands back the finished deliverable.
How is it different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers you. Balt executes. It is connected to your pool, the jobboards and your tools, and hands back finished work rather than a suggestion.
Does Balt replace my tools?
No. Balt works inside your tools with your existing accounts: nothing to migrate, nothing to relearn, and your teams keep using them as before.
Where does Balt work?
In Teams and in Slack, like a teammate. He sees a channel's content only when he is invited to it.
Does every person need their own Balt?
No. One Balt is shared by the whole team: he knows your company rather than one person's conversation, and everyone keeps their own access rights.
Security and data
How does Balt access my data?
You connect your tools in a few clicks. Balt acts within the scope you grant, and you stay in control: every access can be revoked at any time.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Data hosted in France and the European Union, end-to-end encrypted, GDPR compliant. Your data is never used to train any model.
Is my data used to train a model?
No, contractually, including at the downstream model providers. Your data stays yours.
Where is my data hosted?
In France and the European Union. The full list of our subprocessors and what each one handles is in section 7 of our privacy policy.
Is Balt ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certified?
Not today: the SOC 2 Type 2 process is under way. The certifications that exist today are our host's and cover the infrastructure only. Our security commitments are set out in our product terms.
Can I revoke an access?
Yes, at any time and without going through our support. Read and write are set separately, tool by tool.
Does Balt act on his own?
He acts alone on what stays internal and reversible. Anything leaving the company is shown to you first, and a decision that closes a door stays human.
Pricing and credits
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You create your workspace, you receive your free credits and you delegate your first assignments without entering one.
What is a credit?
Balt's unit of work. Searching for profiles, following up or writing a report consumes credits according to the work actually done.
What happens when my credits run out?
Balt stops and tells you. Nothing is charged automatically, you top up or take a monthly pack whenever you decide to.
Can I change pack along the way?
Yes, at any time from the billing screen. The change applies immediately and any adjustment appears on your next invoice.
In what order are my credits used?
From the closest to expiry to the furthest: your plan's monthly credits first, then recharge, and bonus credits last. Recharge and bonus never expire.
Getting started
How long to get started?
A few minutes. You connect your tools and start delegating to Balt right away, no migration.
